 Ok so it's not "NEW" but it's new to me.......I found some very limited info on this while lost through other forums and sites. All the pictures are from the Frazier Park 4x4 club. Again I don't know any specifics just what I've read different places.....



Azusa Canyon is exceptionally known for the wonderful experience of getting mud all over you.  

There is a huge sandy mud bed of a river that is fed by the rains and varies in size. There is a reservoir at the end which turns into a real big mud bath.

If you choose to do the Azusa OHV area it is located 9 miles to the north of 210 freeway on Azusa (highway 39). There is a fee to use the trail ($8.00 per day open Sat. Sun.& Holidays) and entry depends on time and season.

 I’ve noticed that there’s a lot of misinformation floating around out there about the Ford 9” axle and what can be done with it. Some people are of the mindset that the 9” is inherently weak because the outer diameter of the ring gear is .75” smaller than the outer diameter of a Dana 60 ring gear. This is not the case. I won’t go into all of the different factory cases and applications, because there are already hundreds of websites and articles dedicated solely to that.



This is a very educational video explaining how a differential gear really works. It starts from a point assuming you know nothing about an axle. 



  The GM 14 bolt axle is one of the few axles for which the full Detroit locker does not include a new carrier.
