| thanks anyway this just reinforces the fact that the manfacturers do build stuff earlier or later than what is normally thought. that does not bother me at all what really burns me is the "1 year only" stuff that becomes nearly impossible to get parts for

| I picked up a 205 for a NP465 trans the other day. How hard will it be to find an adapter to mate it to a th400? George

| you will need to know whether you have an male 10spline case or a 32 spline female case the 10 spline is not compatible with the th400 the 32 spline came in 2 bolt patterns the figure 8 early style and the late round style the early style was used behind th400 and sm465 and was a short input length the input stuck out of the t/case about 1.5 inches you should be able to find this adapter online or at junkyards the round style was used later on from about mid 1985/86 only in the heavy 1 tons with long and short 32 spline shafts and it is going to be harder to find the adapter

| WEll I have 84 K5 blazer And just recently rebuilt the transmission. WEll Here my problem. Im not the strongest guy in the world So i cant lift that dam T case up in. And I dont Have anybodys to come out and help me lift it up in. So basically the only tool I have is Floor Jack to lift it up in But the 203 always rolls off. Any suggestions on how I can get it up in. And don't quite have the money for a tranny jack

| Use a ratchet strap and strap it to the jack. Some parts stores will rent out trans jacks. Where at in washington are you?

| Well I got the dam T case up in. Here is my solution that I used 3 ratchet straps 2 pop bottle jacks and floor jack. It took me 2 hours and In the end I got it and I am happy with the results and didnt break my back. I live in Kent washington
