For anyone in the Colorado Crew that would like to have a look around up on the Grand Mesa. I would like to do the Long Slough Reservoir Trail I'm thinking the 1st of Aug seems like a good day!

The trail is describe a 30 some miles of driving over volcanic rock interspersed with mud holes. I understand you can end up over near Parachute if you are good at reading a map. Calling any and all good map readers.

This trail is listed in the Co. section of: trail damage.com

One of you Moderator will have to help me with the link!

Fixed it for you Fred.

August is a real questionable month for my schedule. I was still trying to figure out how I could make it out to see Branndon. I'll wait and see, as usual I will know at the last minute.

Thanks guys! No Scott the trail we tried to do for your birthday is called Coal Canyon and is on the North side of the Bookcliffs at Grand Junction. This trail is up on the Grand Mesa above Cedaredge off of Highway 65.

If September would work I'm fine with that! The weekend after next we are going to drive DS Road which is another back way to Moab from Grand Junction. Should be fun if anyone is interested in going along.

Good deal Duane, we need to blow the dust off of the "CHERRY BOMB".
You could set a date and I'm sure I can make it work and I bet Mike will also, not that I can speak for Mike.

We are headed for Scott's late in Aug for a 40th Anniversary party the kids are throwing for MOM but other than that most any weekend will work.
