Gov. Palin is stepping down and handing over her duties to the Lt Governor.

I did not agree with her positions, but the way she was harassed out of office was absolutely wrong. I don't blame her though, there is only so much BS a person can absorb before deciding it just ain't worth the effort.

Im prolly gonna get crap for this, but most of the BS she got......do you think (seriously now) any man in that situation would have been questioned or ridiculed once on those topics?

Never. Hillary wears a pantsuit....and? Michelle Obama has the audacity to go sleeveless!.....and? Sara's daughter had a child out of wedlock, and her glasses were 400 dollars. My frames cost me almost 200?

Anyway.....other than whats his faces 400 dollar haircut...wouldn't it be nice if the playing field was equal?

I hope she is stepping down to prepare to run for something else. I don't agree with some of her thoughts either, but the world needs more Sarahs.

Nope, but whoever her PA is, i hope the LT Gov doesn't use them, they suck. And announcing this weekend of all weekends?

There's alot of speculation from missing emails, to the Letterman gfaw.
to running in 2010 or 2012.

We will have to see.

I think somebody has some dirt on her that is bad enough that she'd quit her job and go out of the public eye in this setting just to save face.

Lol apparently who ever wrote that doesn't live in a small town. " The same contractor built they're house and a hockey arena" yah and the dairy queen, and a starbucks, and a mc donalds. Its a small town there's probably only 2-3 contractor companies big enough to be able to build a hockey arena. Lol

And especially it being in a rural area...were towns are farther apart...and counties are huge....like stc said there are only 2 or 3 companies that can handle certain jobs.....and, cities usually try and use local companies.

Idiots....so the guy that painted my house who may also be bidding on a job for the city....i am now going to be charged with embezzelment?

Unless I don't know the meaning of embezzlement, what she is being accused of isn't embezzlement, it's just plain old favoritism and conflict of interest. Ya gotta be careful with that crap especially when prying eyes are watching. But, good point, in a small town, there are not a plethora of companies providing the needed service. I have to think it's something bigger though...
