Register to hide ads. One of our friends has decided to move to Denver. He bought a wrecked ZX-11 for parts for his ZRX-1100. He has been talking with LT about parting out the remaining usable parts and splitting the profit. Well the friend comes back today and says he got everything he intended and needed for his ZRX so what LT makes he can keep. The motor, tranny and some other things are not for sale BUT there are a ton of parts left, no plastics though, that are usable. Anybody done this before? Ebay, Craigslist? How do you plan for shipping costs especially on something like a shock (odd-shaped)? We have no hopes, needs or intentions just hoping to come out with some extras. The good thing is our friend got bored one night and took basically everything apart and it's laying on his garage floor. He's moving next week so we will probably end up boxing everything this weekend and sorting it here, then taking pics and deciding where to list. I'll post pics once we have the thing at our house.

| Try and find a motorcycle fourm for the maker of the bike. I regualry vists a CBR fourm with a lot of people parting out bikes. They charge shipping based on the item. (I think they go down and get it packaged and find out what the shipping will be to fatherst part of the US from them, and add that in to the cost. Kindof like what you see on ebay)

| My other brother Don
| Pretty much the whole idea. I have to clean quite a bit of it up before I take pics though. Current list includes: Full set of forks incl a brand new tire 120/70/17, polished wheel, forks in need of seals, handle bars, full brake system (incl discs, calipers, master cylinder and braided steel brake lines), clutch master cylinder and braided steel line. Frame (dented, to be squashed for the 30lbs of aluminum) Rear tire (new) 180/55/17 Tank (1 small dent, nothing serious) 1 Ohlins rear shock (remote reservior, remote preload and damping adjustment). Reservior looks a little dinged, but that's replaceable. this shock is bucks up, I just need to clean it to ID model for sure. rear end side plastics (incl. taillights). scratched, minimal cracks. Stock seat. coolant reservior good set of engine cases w/ balancer. (10lbs of aluminum if cant sell Heads w/ rebuildable valvetrain. No springs, all valves, retainers and spring caps. (7 lbs of aluminum if unsellable) Some other stuff. I need to make a full list, clean, pics and price to sell to anyone. ![]() LT | |||||||||||

| I've seen a lot of those parts and they seemed to be fine to my non-trained eye.
