This is sort of a weird one, but I've been fielding a lot of questions locally about what can and cannot be done with factory parts. Three weeks ago I ended up swapping an NV242 into the spot of a broken NV247 after a little research.

Driveline Compatibility

What different bellhousing patterns are out there? (let's try and keep this to the major ones)
What different engines and transmissions use said patterns?
What are some of the rare factory combos for transmission to t-case?
Are there different spline counts for transmission input shafts?
What patterns (on both bellhousing and t-case) are commonly adapted to work with different patterns? (ex. BOPC to Chevy)
