Teacups Run

Teacups Run

This is an easy dusty trail that starts at Camp Site 4 off of Forest Route 22S53, the trail ends at Dry Meadow Creek. The Trail has 2 spots that are a little more difficult for a larger 4x4, 1st can be driven around, while the second I didn’t want to take my Dakota over since I am still new to off roading. At the end of the trail is a camp site, you will need to get a fire permit to make a fire in this area. If you follow the foot trail, there is a nice little area with lots of natural pools in the rock. A little farther down the river and you will come across some beautiful, faster moving pools that are good for fishing and kayaking. This area is called the "Teacups". Kayaking should only be done by a professional due to class 5 rapids you will be dumped down into on the Kern River.
